AN APPRAISAL OF NIGERIA LAWS AGAINST KIDNAPPING

Abstract

This research work aims at appraising the efficiency of Nigerian laws against kidnapping. This project is an in-depth analysis of the offence of kidnapping with a view of evaluating the efficacy of Nigeria laws relating to the offence and the level of awareness of these laws to the average Nigerian. Also what government can do, to speedily, effectively and efficiently tackle the offence of kidnapping while boosting the relevance of government and the effectiveness of enacted laws to the populace. � This work appraises the provisions of domestic laws, the adequacy of these laws to monitor violations and enforcement of sanctions on kidnappers and the effects of kidnapping in Nigeria.� ��
