Abstract

CGMi by the 1970s was experiencing a mighty outpouring of the Spirit and power through Benson�s crusades and Church-planting evangelism; this resulted in the proliferation of Churches within�and around Benin City. Benson confronted cultist groups and traditional institutions and through his faith and bold preaching, he witnessed great signs, wonders and miracles. His ministry drew a massive fellowship.
